The Type S trim has 21-inch alloy wheels, high-gloss black accents, and a larger rear spoiler that exudes dominance. Complementing these traits are a power moonroof for a blend of luxury and style and LED puddle lights for added visibility.
The pinnacle of luxury and performance in the 2024 Acura MDX lineup is the Type S Advance trim level. Defined by 21-inch alloy wheels, a larger rear spoiler, and a power moonroof, this trim also features LED fog lights, ambient lighting, and roof rails for an uncompromising driving experience.
Engine
The 2024 Acura MDX houses a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that can generate 290 horsepower and a substantial 267 pound-feet of torque. For drivers who want more power, the Type S trim level has a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6, producing a formidable 355 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The MDX offers drivers a variety of drive modes including Comfort, Normal, Sport, and Individual. Estimated to give around 20 mpg in an urban setting and about 27 mpg on the highway, the 2024 Acura MDX provides impressive fuel efficiency. And for those days when you need more haulage, the MDX, when properly equipped, can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Interior
The cabin is a blend of luxury and space, designed with premium materials and providing ample room for both passengers and cargo.
