Take a drive down to these local pizzerias to get a bite of some of the best pizza our area has to offer.

We are so pleased to announce that the all-new 2021 Acura TLX is now available at Esserman International Acura!
Acura is presenting the TLX as the quickest, best-handling, and most well-appointed sedan in the brand’s 35-year history. The all-new midsize model does not share its platform with any crossovers or SUVs and was designed to keep the four-door sports sedan fires burning at Acura since Acura is discontinuing the full-size RLX. The retirement of the RLX makes the TLX it is largest non-utility offering.
Its wide, low, long, and curvy body features a stretched hood that gives it the look of a rear-wheel-drive model despite being built on a front-drive-based platform with a transversely mounted four-cylinder engine.
Complementing its stunning new design and athletic stance, the TLX’s new 2.0-liter DOHC VTEC Turbo delivers more peak torque than the outgoing 3.5-liter V6, with a dramatic increase at the low end of the rev range. Compared to the outgoing entry 2.4L model, the new TLX offers substantially more performance and major increases to technologies and premium amenities – establishing a new and more upmarket entry point for the Acura sedan.
Additional performance improvements for the 2021 TLX include a quick-shifting 10-speed transmission, sport-tuned chassis with double-wishbone front suspension, NSX-derived electro-servo brake-by-wire technology, and available adaptive dampers.
The TLX has a warm interior design, with lots of layers, curves, beautiful wood, and soft, stitched materials throughout that’s in lockstep with the brand’s best-selling RDX SUV. That includes sporty, form-fitting seats and an infotainment system controlled by a pad on the center console that is easier to use and safer than a touchscreen display. Acura’s True Touchpad interface features a padded rest for your hand that’s mounted ahead of a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The TLX doesn’t beg you to drive it as you stole it at first but put it in Sport mode and you’ll realize it is labeled accurately. It firms up the computer-controlled shocks, adds weight to the steering, and makes the throttle and transmission more aggressive. The TLX enjoys a good curve and doesn’t mind if you throw it into one with authority. Its double-wishbone front suspension provides solid moves and lets it handle more than you’ll probably ever dish out. The electric-assist brakes.
If music is more your thing, the audio system that comes in top models is pretty epic. The 710-watt ELS Studio 3D setup from Panasonic permeates you with 17 speakers, including in the ceiling and twin subwoofers. Additional tech includes a head-up display and a driver-assist package with automatic emergency brakes, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control that makes it a great place to commute in, the TLX is a lot more fun when you have full control.
The all-new 2021 TLX leads the way in pushing the limits of performance, tech, and design. The TLX is packed full of the very best technology, audio, safety, and luxury features. You will be incredibly impressed when you stop by Esserman International to take the new TLX for a test drive! Don’t hesitate to come to check out this beautiful masterpiece of a car!

What to Look for When Buying a Used Car!
When buying a used car, you want to make sure you’re getting the best deal, highest quality, and exquisite service! At Esserman International, we are always striving to be the best at what we do. Why should you buy your pre-owned car from us though? Here are a few things you want to look for when buying a used car: Accident-Free Report, One Owner Guaranteed, a clean CarFax & complete service history records. We do all of this for you along with offering our Acura Certified Pre-owned Warranty and the Esserman Advantage! Why are all of these things so important? We will fill you in!
Carfax is a database of the most comprehensive vehicle history records in North America, containing more than 24 billion records. It receives data from more than 112,000 different sources including every U.S. and Canadian provincial motor vehicle agency plus many police and fire departments, collision repair facilities, auto auctions, and more.
Each Carfax report reveals important information about a car’s history, such as previous accidents, an odometer reading, existence of a branded title such as a salvage/junk title, or past registration as a fleet vehicle. A Carfax Report may not include every event in a vehicle’s history but will include the data that is reported to Carfax for a specific vehicle identification number.
Use the Carfax Vehicle History Report is an important tool, along with a vehicle inspection and test drive, to make a better decision about a used car. If an accident has been reported to CARFAX it will be included in the CARFAX Vehicle History Report. Why is it important that your car be Accident-Free? The main reason why you should be concerned if a used car has been in an accident is that accidents can cause long-lasting damage — which, in some cases, can persist or continue to cause problems long after the car has been repaired. Another reason is that repair quality isn’t always perfect. While it’s difficult for any body shop to repair a vehicle to the factory’s exacting standards, some shops don’t even get close — and some shops repair vehicles as quickly as possible, with little regard to overall quality. At Esserman, all of our vehicles have a No Accidents report giving you that peace of mind!
Esserman also guarantees that each vehicle is reconditioned, inside and out, to create a certified luxury ownership experience. All vehicles that are under six years old with less than 80,000 miles have a 24-month/100,000 mile Certified Limited Warranty. Each vehicle must also pass a 182-point vehicle inspection and is covered by an extensive Roadside Assistance program.
We also offer the Esserman Advantage! The relationship and benefits that you receive when doing business with us are what we call the Esserman Advantage. We have a number of extra values that will save you time and money during the entire time you own your vehicle. Some service perks that we offer include a Large Service Loaner Fleet, drop-off or Lyft Service, complimentary alignment with every service, and a complimentary inspection.
In addition, our extraordinary commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction ensures that we will exceed your expectations with every visit. We stand behind this commitment with our hearts and souls.
We hope this helped you understand more about what to look for when buying a pre-owned car! Always check the Carfax report for service history and previous accidents and check to see what warranty is offered along with any additional advantages. At Esserman International, we do our absolute best to bring you the ultimate pre-owned car buying experience! We hope to see you at Esserman Acura very soon!
2020 Acura MDX is our Safety Pick!
This week is Child Passenger Safety Week and we want to help educate you on how to best make sure your children are safe while riding in the car. Every 32 seconds in 2018, one child under the age of 13 in a passenger vehicle was involved in a crash. Many times, injuries and deaths can be prevented by proper use of car seats, boosters, and seat belts. Nearly half of all car seats are installed incorrectly, which means that even your child may not be traveling as safely as possible. Your goal should be to make sure your child is in the correct car seat, then ensure that it is installed and used properly. You should also make sure that it is registered with its manufacturer to ensure you receive important safety updates.
NHTSA is an amazing resource when it comes to child passenger safety. Whether you’re buying your child’s first car seat, deciding whether to let your kids walk to school or take the bus, handing the car keys to your teenager, looking for adaptive equipment for a disabled driver, or you’re concerned about your older parent’s ability to drive, they are available to answer your questions. If you have a car seat in your vehicle, you can visit a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician in your community to double-check that it’s correctly installed and that you’re using it correctly. You can also utilize this simple search tool to find a car seat inspection station near you. Link: https://www.nhtsa.gov/equipment/car-seats-and-booster-seats.

OEM Parts vs Aftermarket Parts for Your Acura!

Acura TLX
When it comes to selecting parts for a car repair, it is important to understand the differences between OEM and aftermarket parts. You may be considering a summer road trip. If so, make sure to get your car inspection and preventative maintenance. Your decision will depend on the type of repair and the quality and price of the parts. Also, it is always important to look for parts that come with a warranty so you’ll be protected in case they fail. You never know when you’ll need a parts repair, so read below for more information on OEM parts vs aftermarket parts.
Here are the key definitions to note:
- Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts match those that came with your car and are of the same quality as its original parts.
- Aftermarket parts are made by other manufacturers, usually several.
Auto body repairs
Some aftermarket parts may be OK for auto body repair, but others won’t be as good. There is a lot of variation in quality. For example, aftermarket parts often don’t have the same level of rustproofing as manufacturer parts. The fit and finish may not match or the panels do not align properly. When OEM parts are used in auto body repair, the car will look and work exactly as it did before the damage. This is because the OEM parts are made as the manufacturer intended them too and everything will match up. It is also crucial to keep in mind that OEM parts are crash-tested, unlike many aftermarket parts.
Aftermarket parts come at varying price points and levels of quality, usually making them cheaper and preferred by insurance agencies. If you want OEM parts but are dealing with an insurer that wants the shop to use aftermarket parts, ask to pay the difference. You have the right to request your insurance company to use original equipment manufactured parts rather than aftermarket parts to repair your vehicle.
Mechanical repairs
When it comes to simple mechanical repairs, aftermarket parts may seem like the better choice but we believe the contrary. Aftermarket parts vary a lot when it comes to quality and if you are not familiar with manufacturers then it can be very hard to choose the one you can trust. OEM parts are easy and simple to choose, as they will usually come in only one type. OEM parts have guaranteed quality since these parts are designed to function exactly like the original part. They also come with a warranty, so you can have the confidence to hit the road without a worry.
Now that you know the major differences between OEM and aftermarket parts, you can make an informed decision the next time you need Acura parts. You can also tailor your Acura to fit your lifestyle with OEM parts. Through our eStore, you can purchase genuine Acura parts and accessories online. Enhance and upgrade your Acura vehicle with confidence, knowing they are designed by Acura and manufactured specifically for your vehicle.
